This SMPS battery charger has been designed for use in applications, where an uninterrupted DC supply of 12 Volts is required, for critical operations such as CCTV cameras, Security and Safety Panels, etc.
It has a Mains Driven Switch Mode Power Supply which delivers 12V at 1A steady state, and can handle a wide variation of Line Input Voltage.
The Power Supply can also be safely operated without connecting a Battery in case Battery backup is not required. The circuitry is protected against damage due to Output short-circuit and output is Current-limited to enable Dead Battery Charging.
It is available both as Open-frame and with plastic enclosure.
