LPG Leak Detector
(Model Z-12DC & Z-230AC)

LPG leak detector model is a compact electronic device which detects the presence of LPG or LNG in the air. It switches on a relay at less than 1/4th of LEL (Lower Explosive Level) thereby warning much before the escaped gas can pose a fire hazard. There is also a visual warning LED.

Model Z-12DC operates on 12V DC supply and has been specifically designed for use with Security panels as well as in LPG/LNG run vehicles.
Model Z-230AC is designed for direct mains operation and is supplied with a Mains Adaptor.

Calibration :
Since there are currently no Indian Standards for LPG detectors, we follow the "Japanese Test Standard for Gas Detectors" issued by the Japan Gas Appliances Inspection Association. Our detectors also satisfy the UL standard No.UL1484 for Residential Gas Detectors.

The unit is factory calibrated for sensitivity less than 2000 PPM which is well below the Lower Explosive limit of LPG (18000 to 21000 PPM). Whenever there is a leak and the Air + LPG mixture triggers the relay. The relay contacts can inturn switch on an alarm or give a signal to the alarm panel. The relay and LED remain on till the gas disperses.

It does not require compensation, alteration, resetting for different temperatures and humidity levels.
