ESD Footwear and Heel/Toe straps are the first line of defense against electrostatic charge build up on the human body. At the same time the footwear must remain electrically safe for the user. Thus, it is important to test conductive footwear regularly.

In order to protect sensitive electronic components, the maximum Footwear resistance should not be more than 35 Megohms. On the other hand, the resistance should not be less than 0.75 Mohm as protection to the wearer from dangerous levels of voltage and current flow. 

Extremely convenient to use, the person has to just step onto the stand. Actuation is automatic and after checking both feet, it instantly gives a voice message indicating whether or not the footwear system is safe to use.
